The workshop was conducted by Anthony Jesudasan, a Kalavibushanam Award-winning social service professional and Executive Director of the Voice of the Plantation People Organization, who also serves as a sworn translator, interpreter, and training consultant.
The workshop aimed to enhance administrative and communication skills, teamwork, and institutional capacity. It featured a structured agenda with sessions on communication techniques, SWOT analysis, group presentations, and exercises to improve leadership and teamwork. Key topics included clerical work, record-keeping, effective communication, report and letter writing, meeting organization, and leadership development. The training also emphasized Training of Trainers (TOT) and overcoming stage fright.
Designed to be interactive, the workshop incorporated practical tools for office management, meeting participation, and leadership roles, ensuring participants could apply the skills in real-world scenarios. The sessions were conducted in both Sinhala and simple English to accommodate all attendees. Overall, the workshop focused on improving individual and organizational performance through targeted skill development and collaborative activities.
