With the generous patronage of The Asia Foundation, a leadership training program for young men and women working in garment factories was successfully conducted in Vavuniya on The program was organized with the resource contribution of Ms. Nalani Subhasinghe, Vavuniya District Coordinator of the RED organization. The emergency support program for women and children affected by gender-based violence (GBV) was successfully implemented on This program organized by the RED organization under the sponsorship of the Dabindu organization, the program provided emergency assistance to ten selected families to meet their immediate needs. We were able to provide dry rations and food items to ensure the nutritional security of these families, school equipment and materials to meet the educational needs of the children in these affected families, and essential medicines and health facilities.
